Do you love working with children and want to help promote social change at an NGO?

Work with the local branch of an international non-profit organisation that since 1949, focuses on the social development of children and teenagers.  It is an independent NGO that promotes sustainable social development.   The organisation is an independent NGO that offers direct basic services to children from marginalized communities to ensure their well-being and guarantee their basic human rights.   Children who do not have a home are offered the opportunity to live together in a family-like structure.  Along with other groups, the organisation promotes sustainable social changes for the benefit of children who lost the care of their families or are at risk of losing it.

You will work directly with the children under supervision from a staff member and also assist families in their daily tasks.  You will also organize free-time activities for children and help young adults prepare for their life in the workforce.

You will be guided and supported by the school staff while taking part in orientations upon arrival, during mid-stay, and at the end of your stay.  During these orientations, you’ll learn about the importance of relationship-building with your host family and local community.  The program also welcomes new ideas and suggestions by the international volunteers.
